Arizona Teen Driving Academy opened in 2013. Even though we opened in 2013, I have been teaching driving instruction for many, many years in Phoenix, AZ. First as an adult instructor for delivery drivers, then solely as a teen driving instructor for our new teen drivers. 

One thing I have learned from being a driving instructor for teenage drivers in PATIENCE. The students can not learn to drive properly with a backseat driver, micromanaging their every turn. They must learn by doing it themselves, seeing, feeling and learning from the mistakes most new drivers make when driving for their first year or so. Most driving schools make the students sit through hours of classroom instruction before heading out on the road for the REAL practice. Their intentions are good, but teen driver's today are very VISUAL learners. They need to immediately see, feel and ACT on physically changing road conditions to become a safe driver today. Plus, most of what they learn in the classroom is available for free as YouTube instructional videos. AZ TEEN DRIVING ACADEMY cuts straight to the point with real time driving instruction on the road right out of the gate. 

TO PARENTS: Another small piece of mind parents can have, is that every single student of ours in instructed differently. I have seen first-hand how driving schools today have to follow their "cookie-cutter" curriculum and basically go through their "company checklist" and instruct the child according to their checklist.

As a long time high school teacher, I know all to well how differently every child learns. I will be able to observe very early on what your child's strengths & weaknesses are. We will immediately focus our attention on adjusting our style of teaching to suit the child's individuals needs, giving them extra help, guidance & instruction where they need it most. After completing a course with AZ TEEN DRIVING ACADEMY, your child will drive with a new found confidence behind the wheel! 

Plus, the best part is that you don't have to take any special steps to enroll your child in this course. as long as they have their instructional permit or driver's license, all you have to do is enroll them into the program you think is best, and we will do the rest! 

No pick up or drop off is required by the parent!
